Activities Committee
Our Rumage Sale is held in March. Items are donated by residents and the sale is staffed by community volunteers. Proceeds have bought the Big Toy, outfitted the clubhouse kitchen with appliances, dishes and curtains, paved the tennis courts, created the jogging track and paid for at least half of the most recent clubhouse roof.
For the community's children, the Easter Egg Hunt is relatively new.
Chaired by Heidi Nelson and Kimber Bang, the Tennis program has become one of the strongest north end summer teams.
Held during September, the Salmon BBQ is the highlight of the summer for old and new residents. Many former residents come as guest of residents and there is always a good turnout.The Christmas Party is for the young and old of the community. Santa makes an appearance and to encourage the idea of giving, pet food donations were asked and given to PAWS.
The Activities Committee will sponsor any activity for which there is enough community interest. Current events have included a Wine Tasting, Oktoberfest, the Newcomers Welcome party, the Womens Night Out, Flower Arranging classes, and craft fairs.
